Norwegian – Culture/Adventure class visiting Copenhagen

Do you know the expression «It’s good to be Norwegian in Denmark»? It’s true!

Let’s go

…and let’s share some trip highlights, after going by bus to Sweden and crossing the bridge to Denmark. First night: Amazing race in Copenhagen city to see some sights and connect with the groups. (We travel with the Photo- and Arts classes).

A lot to see

We start the second day by visiting Our Saviors Church with an amazing spiral tower, offering a 360 view of the city.

On to Christiania free town with charming architecture and loads of art. Then we see the city from the waterside with The Canal boat, and eat a dinner buffet at Dalle Valle (with unlimited ice cream!) and enjoy the incredible ballet «The nutcracker» at the beautiful Royal theatre.

…and even more!

Highlights, right? You got it: Visiting the kings palace, Amalienborg castle, The marble church, The Rosenborg castle which King Kristian the IV built, enjoying dinner buffet at the Turkish Resturant Ankara before visiting Copenhagen’s famous Tivoli, riding attractions all night long!

(Anyone surprised it was pretty quiet on the bus going home?)
