«Norwegian» in Ålesund and Runde

Ålesund in the early morning is pure magic! We practically have the trail to Aksla all to ourselves, which means no jostling for the best spot at the viewpoint. The hike might be a bit of a workout, but trust me, it’s worth every step. The view from the top is simply breathtaking – the city sprawled out below with its vibrant colors, unique shapes, and a peaceful vibe that makes you want to just soak it all in.

Ålesund is also a journey through time and history – we get a glimpse of how Arne Nord made it through the Great Fire in 1904. Walderhuset is truly a house with an incredible story!

… thanks to an angel

Atlanterhavsparken is totally worth a visit. Cool aquariums and tons of amazing sea life. We even get to touch sea creatures and catch carbs. Too bad we can’t take the catch -that would’ve been a fantastic meal.

Cod, halibut, catfish, skate.. we saw them all

We’re excited for Runde because of the puffins. But before that, we get to experience something truly amazing. At Runde Environmental Center – we learn about the different birds in the area. Even thoug we’re tired, hiking up the steep mountain is no big deal. At the top, we just take it all in…

Busy day for a sheep
