I recommend Elverum folkehøgskole because the relationship I have with the teachers is so special. All of the teachers/staff genuinely deeply care about the students. They are so willing to do whatever is needed to make sure students are safe and comfortable. Coming from the outside of Norway it can be difficult to adjust to the volume of language being thrown at you, but the teachers work hard to make sure students who don’t speak as much Norwegian are able to understand what’s going on.
