Elverum Folk High School is centrally located in Elverum, idyllically situated between Sagtjernet and Glomma. The historic red-painted buildings in Østerdal style provide the perfect setting for your party.

We have a room that can accommodate up to 100 people. It is the dining room in the main building at the school. There is a lot of original furniture from the year it was built in 1928, long tables and handmade chairs.
We rent this venue preferably from about May 10th to August 15th, with the exception of three weeks in July, when we are closed for the summer. If you would like a venue for an event during the school year, please contact us, maybe we can find an opportunity. Larger or smaller groups.

In other premises, such as the Library and the King's Room, we have capacity for up to 10 and eight people respectively. These premises can be rented out all year round.

During the summer months, when the weather is nice, aperitifs and finger food can be served outside in the atrium or on the roof terrace with a view of Sagtjernet. Alternatively, inside in the fireplace room.

Together with our skilled chefs, you decide on the menu based on the season and availability of ingredients, and of course your own wishes. We always accommodate various allergens.
White tablecloths, white napkins and white candles are included in the venue rental, for finer parties.
We bake all our cakes in our own kitchen. Please take a look at our cake menu.
The cakes can be adapted to various allergens.
Custom cakes by arrangement. There is an additional charge per person for handling and serving the cakes.

We have hosted weddings, and if you would like to have your wedding here, we can arrange it for you. Come and see what options are available indoors and outdoors.

Is your company having a kick-off or summer party? Then a barbecue party in our atrium is popular. Our chefs bring out the large charcoal grill and serve a bountiful summer menu on a buffet.
And of course something sweet to end the meal with.
Our outdoor area can be used for team building, games and fun.

Alcoholic beverages are agreed individually.

We rent out lighting and sound equipment for events. Ask us about options and offers.

If our calendar is full and we do not have capacity for your event, we can provide catering. See our catering menu. Adjustments can be agreed.

We offer historical lectures about the King's No, about the dramatic April days in 1940 and Elverum Folk High School's role in this exciting but dramatic history. Preferably including dinner in the dining room or a lighter meal in the Kongerommet.

In addition, it is possible to rent a theater hall with stage, sound, lighting and presentation equipment, or a lecture and conference hall with seating for 100 people. This is preferably rented out outside the school year, but please contact us and we will see if there is a possibility for your event.
