Learn to cast on and cast off, knit straight and purl, as well as waves, braids and patents.
You will also be able to read knitting patterns yourself. Maybe you have time to knit a headband, hat, mittens and socks that are nice to wear on a cool winter day. Or what about a seat pad?
The school has what you need of knitting needles and yarn in wool or cotton. Whether you are a beginner or a practitioner, you will enjoy the evening sessions along with all the others on knitting electives.
Nothing is cozier than bringing out the knitting in a good conversation in front of the fireplace.
