Self-storage

The ability to fend for themselves!

In self-rescue electives, you learn various skills you need to become more self-sufficient. This can be about cooking or using old materials to make something new. You will learn how to make nutritious and cheap bed and breakfast food, traditional dishes, canned and pickled food, cut up animals, wounds and growers, pick berries and make jams. You learn how to make new products from materials that might otherwise have been thrown away - how to felt old wool sweaters and what can you make from it? We crochet storage baskets of old sheets and other textiles, we melt together plastic bags to make new products and so on.

The degree of self-storage shows the extent to which one is able to obtain the goods and services one needs, using one's own production and own activity.
