Do you want to learn how to take better pictures?

In photo electives, you learn how to take better photos. You learn about composition (how to build an image so it looks good), what makes us like some images better than others, you get to borrow macro and effect lenses for mobile cameras, you learn how to take images with SLR cameras and you learns how to take pictures in the studio. You do not need any prior knowledge, other than that you have a mobile camera. If you have an SLR camera or another camera, you can use it instead.

Every hour you get an assignment. It can be taking a close-up of nature, taking portrait photos that reflect the personality, taking abstract art photos, taking photos in the studio, creating a photo series that tells a story, learning about simple steps you can take to make the photo more exciting, lightpainting and more.

To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting an ordinary place… I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.
