Festival exhibition
Art / Experiences shows their work at the festival «Blue Runner».
It was a nice mix of Oil Painting, Gravure Printing, Acrylic, Watercolor, Street Art, Fat Colors and Photography. It was time consuming to work with oil paints, but because we used environmentally friendly water-based oil paints, it still dried faster than if we had used oil-based paints. With gravure printing, we could add, mix and remove the ink on plastic or copper plate and thus get many different expressions of the same motif. In the watercolor assignment "Life in the water" it was natural enough, experimenting with blue colors. Although students often have their favorite motif or expression, it is fun to be challenged on new techniques or materials.
