• What you need in terms of clothing - underwear and normal outdoor/indoor clothes (we are going on a mountain trip a week after school starts, and it can be cold, so don't forget the woolen underwear even if it is August)

• Bed linen - including duvet and pillow (if you have a long journey, it may be a good idea to buy this here in Elverum)
• Washing powder and fabric softener (yes, you can buy in Elverum, but from mum and dad it's free 🤑)

Reduce consumption and buy used

Before you go shopping for new and expensive equipment, we recommend taking a look at second-hand markets such as Finn.no or Tise. Feel free to visit your local thrift store. The latest and most expensive equipment is rarely used.

Pack light

Remember that there are washing machines attached to all boarding schools, so you don't have to exaggerate the amount of clothes you bring. It may also be a good idea to wait with some purchases until you get to school and see what you actually need. If you have forgotten something, most things can be fixed in Elverum.
