Wakeboarding on Mjøsa with Snowboard/Freeski and Photo line

Fantastic faceplants and airy floats in Hamar Seaside Cablepark.

"Warming up" for winter with wakeboarding

Snowboard/Freeski has been in the neighboring town of Hamar to test the board skills at Seaside Cablepark. Three days paid off on the skills - and on muscles that hadn't been used for a while and which became violently sore!

There were many faceplants and all the students got to rinse through the entire system with wonderful Mjøsvann, but there were also jumps, rails and a jump start from the jetty - not just in the water.

In addition, wake skate was tested. Without bindings, the degree of difficulty increases greatly - but it works!

Versatile

Wakeboarding is just one of several activities that will prepare the ski and board line for winter. Gymnastics, diving, skating, strength training and surfing contribute to greater versatility and more mastery for the winter.

Photo/Experiences also had a go

On the last day, Foto/Experiences joined in, and got to try their hand at boards, but also as action photographers. Many people probably think wakeboarding was difficult - but the joy was all the greater when you got to stand for a bit.

There were many flash shots from both wake, skate and portraits.
