Norwegian – Culture/Adventure in Lofoten
– Bodø, Svolvær, Henningsvær and much more
On Wednesday, March 12, we land in sunny Bodø and spend some time at a Sami camp before experiencing the Northern Lights on the ferry to Svolvær in Lofoten. We are indeed lucky.

Lofoten from end to end is a fantastic way to discover the island. We get a good insight into how the Vikings lived at Borg. We even try weapons and weaving. Real Vikings!

Lofoten is not only about beautiful landscapes. In Vikten and Sund, we are close to artists who show us how they create art. They are inspired by the nature around them, and we enjoy the moment

Lofoten is known for cod fishing... we must try this! We board the MS Symra, ready to catch our own dinner. We get good guidance along the way, and maybe we'll outclass those participating in the World Championship in cod fishing that weekend.

March in Lofoten is the prime time for the Northern Lights. We get exactly what we wished for and enjoy this fantastic phenomenon on the ferry between Bødo and Svolvær. We were super lucky to get an awesome intro to the Northern Lights from some real enthusiasts. It was nice to see that recycling works very well too 😉
