Norwegian and Friluftsliv on a ski trip

Ski trip in beautiful terrain from Gåsbu to Budor

The Norwegian and Outdoor Life class are on a joint ski trip along the southern part of Hedmarksvidda. The start is at Gåsbu and goal day 1 is Budor. Beautiful lead, purple dry wax, a bit foggy and exciting weather. The gang is good at skiing. Just past Bårdsetra, the terrain is great for a lunch break with campfire coffee and packed lunch. Good mood in the whole group.

The overnight stay takes place in the idyllic Koiedalen on Budor. Here, the delicious fish soup made over the fire is served. The evening offers social gatherings more easily laid out on the beds in the huts, while the storm ravages the outside. In the huts, dry birch wood on top of the fireplace provides good evening heat and the sleep gradually fades away.

The next day offers fantastic February sun, some wind from the southwest and the ski trip continues to Narsetra where the bus picks up the gang for transport back to school.
