The Movies on War festival started in Elverum Kulturhus with an opening speech by Mads Gilbert and the opening film A Rising Fury. After the opening, the stage was set for the opening dinner where the festival's friends, sponsors and prominent guests were invited. Music Band/Vocal provided the entertainment in the form of musical elements.

Recently Musikk Band/Vokal has been preparing for this gig. Each gig has different professional challenges, but something is different every time. The students have discussed a suitable repertoire for the occasion. They chose three songs that can all be related to war and/or peace.

Each gig requires a lot of practice, planning time, transport and equipment. On stage, it must be rigged up and down. And so you have to be physically and mentally prepared to go on stage and deliver the best product you can when it's finally showtime.
