"Everything is done for the very last time"

The beginning of the end was a pleasant word for the day by headmaster Per Egil, followed by a rehearsal of "Surrounded by enemies" which was to be the actual finale of the entire school year. There was also time for some sing-alongs, including "For last time" with a guaranteed cry...

Speeches, tears and testimonials

All lines had a final gathering with cured meats, speeches from and to teachers, several tears and the handing out of diplomas. A pleasant time to summarize the year and be grateful for what we have had together.

Then we all gathered together for the closing program in the main hall. We received a wonderful speech from student council leader Maya, with, among other things, both thanks and funny little jabs at the staff.

Guests and students also got a word for the day (of course) and the principal's speech, but the big highlight was Surrounded by Enemies performed by the whole school together on stage, before the howling choir with both students and staff bid a tearful farewell to the 2023-2024 school year.
