Vacancy: Kitchen employee / chef

We are looking for a service-minded and flexible employee for the kitchen / boarding school in a 100% position.

We are looking for a new employee at the boarding school and kitchen. Working hours are mainly daytime and every third weekend with some evening work. A more specific description of the tasks is given by contacting us.

We offer:

  • Permanent position at 100%
  • Breakfast guards, assistant guards, work every 3rd weekend after shifts in the school year
  • Substitute as chef if needed. Some cleaning during holidays and shifts adapted to our operation in the summer
  • Good working environment and orderly working conditions
  • Salary according to tariff and membership in the Government Pension Fund

Wanted qualifications:

  • Certificate as a chef or experience in preparing food from an institution / canteen / restaurant / café
  • Knowledge of IK food
  • relevant work experience
  • Preparation of vegetarian food and special diets
  • Experience with cleaning

Boarding school leader

Kristin has a certificate as a restaurant chef and education in economics and administration. Work experience as a chef in hotels and restaurants. Responsibility for boarding and cleaning at the school. Kristin trains students for practical work, and is responsible for renting out meeting rooms, function rooms and accommodation.

Per Egil Andersen

Principal

Background from general teacher education, sports and guidance pedagogy, administration and management as well as various coaching education. Teaching experience from after-school program, junior high school, high school and college. Per Egil has taught on the Snowboard, Backpacker, Norwegian - Culture / Adventure and Outdoor life line. Supervisor for students from Høgskolen i Innlandet. Responsible for annual celiac courses for children, adolescents and adults.
