Art makes copper jewellery
We start the year by shaping and burning copper clay
New challenges await: Art/Experiences will be able to try their hand at a special clay consisting of copper and organic material that makes it plastic and easy to shape. With a stamp or embossing paper, the surface can be given a nice pattern. After the clay has dried, it is fired at full blast for 5 minutes, before it is quickly moved into a cooling water bath. Oxidation is then brushed off with a wire brush and fine sandpaper, before it is polished with a stone. A challenging process that produces many unique results.
