Handball tests endurance, and trains resilience - speed
Geyser in hall, resilience - speed on ski jump.
This week, the last group has completed the Geysir test. This is a test that shows handball-specific endurance. The athlete starts on the handball court's short line, runs across the entire court and turns on the opposite short line, runs back, and turns at 9 meters, where the athlete backs into the short line. The exercise is done 8 times, as fast as possible. Best time in class among the boys 2:13, and among the girls 2:26.
We have also this week worked in stairs with flexibility and speed. The venerable Ydalir ski jump works excellently for this type of resource training. See photo gallery.
