With nature photographer from "Ut i Naturen", Trond Berg, the photo line received an introduction to equipment and technique for macro photography.
Insect trap
For the occasion, we had placed an "insect trap" - a strong lamp with a collector part that attracts insects throughout the night. It produced several good subjects who drowsily lined up and posed for a while before flying off.
We also found a number of insects in bushes and on flowers in the immediate area around the school.
Equipment
For macro photography, there is a big advantage with macro lenses. These are lenses that focus even at a very short distance, so that the subject can fill the image surface even if they are tiny.
At the school, we have a number of lenses for Nikon and Canon that the students were able to test. Below you can see the result!
