Opening of the 2027/2028 school year
The school year starts on Sunday 22 August, and we look forward to welcoming all new students. Here is information about the start-up.
10.00–14.30: Reception and accommodation
- Arrive at the school. The address is Strandbygdveien 143, 2409 Elverum. We’ll meet you at the entrance and give you all the information you need for the day.
- Find a parking space, and go to the space in front of the Main Building. You will be registered and given your room key.
- A member of staff will join you and show you to your boarding room. Maybe your roomie has already arrived? The boarding schools are for the students, but those accompanying them can help carry in luggage. There will be simple catering for everyone who comes.
- On your way in, you’ll have your photo taken for your student ID and for a student directory with photos of everyone at the school. The directory makes it easier to learn the names of your fellow students. The staff member who meets you will show you where to go for your photo.

After the opening:
Say goodbye to your parents, move into your room and get to know your fellow students.
17.00: Dinner for the students
We’ll have dinner together with your classmates. Later in the evening, there will be activities with your dorm group.
