It was an excited bunch who showed up on Saturday, full of expectations for the next few days. After a lovely lunch with homemade lasagna, the gang set out on a blue trip. Despite lots of gnats and mosquitoes, we had an incredibly pleasant time at Budor with name games, the small round and various competitions.

On Sunday, the whole gang took the trip to Helgøya Climbing Park. The participants threw themselves from three to three, and they were challenged in different tracks adapted to their level. Norway's longest zip line was also tried by many, and it was a happy but tired group who returned to the folk high school in the evening.

This year we were able to offer many different workshops so that everyone could do something they liked. The toughest took part in extreme sports where you could try out climbing or water activities with a riverboard and jump up to ten meters. Baking courses were also very popular, and with Trine at the helm, it did not take long before you could smell the delicious gluten-free yeast baking. The oreo cake also aroused the enthusiasm of many. Good dancers learned three different dances at record speed and many unleashed their creativity in the art gallery. The last group made an insanely cool music video with the help of the school's teachers Eivind and Arild. Watch the movie at the bottom of this page.

On Tuesday night, the table was set for a gala dinner in finstasen, with lovely food, good atmosphere and several who came with a date on their arm. Afterwards, we ended with entertainment on stage, with dance performances, self-composed songs and not least the premiere of the music video.

With Ketil in the kitchen, it is no wonder that the trousers tightened a little extra at the end of the camp - just as it should be. The weather gods were also on our side, something we are happy about, despite some red nose tips. We have enjoyed ourselves incredibly much at the summer camp and are already looking forward to next year 😀
