Concert: Lewi Bergrud
Thursday 28 October at 20.30 you can see one of Norway's leading artists at Elverum Folk High School!
Lewi is an artist in the true sense of the word. He loves to play live and has been on stage since he was 8 years old. He has long been a sought-after bassist and multi-musician, and he has backed the best artists for years.
Together with childhood friend Knut Anders Sørum and the band expect he toured the United States and Europe. In recent years, Lewi has toured with Kurt Nilsen and Narum, and in addition he gives over 30.000 spectators goosebumps every summer on "Urbane Totninger".
You may have seen him on Beat for Beat? Maybe you saw him on TV2, with his fantastic Norwegian version of "Farytales of New York"?
When Lewi went solo for the first time, Oppland Arbeiderblad wrote the following:
"As a vocalist, he has long distinguished himself as one of the country's very, very strongest hans his songs have choruses that refuse to move away from the ear canals…"
Lewi is an honest artist in every way. There is no stalking. No juggling. Here it is quality and real goods. And he delivers. Always.
There is no doubt: Lewi deserves its audience and the audience deserves Lewi.
NB. Maximum 100 seats.
