Africa - Aid / Safari

The aid works despite the virus

It is good that our aid works even though we could not travel down to Kasese this year. The report from Kasese is a small positive element in these surreal times - with students at home and with distance learning and a lot of FaceTime.

This year's big goal was to help the Kasese projects - and especially agriculture - with a tractor. A great Massey Ferguesson is in place and luckily our professional Iver Husum came down to Uganda before the travel bans came into effect. So he has had intensive training in the use of the tractor, as well as arranged a maintenance agreement in the capital Kampala. Now we hope that as many of us as possible will have the opportunity to travel down at a later date.

Iver trains the guys in tractor driving.
And the irrigation system works here and all over agriculture.
From the official presentation of the tractor, - but without the ambassador and the main contributors.
Proud agricultural manager. Congratulations Salomon!
The boss himself has sent pictures with the text: "Thank you to Elverum Folk High School". Regards Aganatiya Katya.
