Highlight autumn and future plans for Africa

AUTUMN 2024:

First week with forced socialization and impressive entertainment by the line (after 4 days!)

Then there were activities at the school and at the Forest Museum before we had 3 days Glitter home in Jotunheimen....without coverage!

10 degrees with 75% participation in Sjoa at Glitterheim

Overnight trip tenl Landsjøåsen w/admitted Harry tour to Sveige together with Music and Photo. The cooking skills came to the fore!

Cabin trip also to Engerdal Østfjell starting with Bistand and Quiz

Recycle photo shoot with Foto- in collaboration with the Namibian Association and their thrift store. Everyone bought outfits, found locations in Elverum and made beautiful posters of the pictures+ that NF made a good profit on our trade

ACTIVE FOR OTHERS 2024: Sponsor race for our projects in Uganda. Everyone at our school organizes for all primary school pupils in Elverum (1800 pupils) an hour of running and two hours of activity and fun.

ACTIVE FOR OTHERS Part 2: Afrikalinjen also organized AfA for the neighboring municipality of Åmot.

MAIN TOUR: Almost 3 weeks in Uganda + two days in Rwanda. Finally we got to see the projects we collect money for. Also great to see the rebuilding of Rwanda after the 1994 genocide

FRIEND IN AUTUMN: Provide an offer to young refugees in Elverum in collaboration with the Elverum Red Cross. For example, bowling, first aid courses, trampoline park, game night, theater trip and MOW

Og Friend in Everyday Life every Tuesday (an hour socializing with the elderly at MOEN ALDERS and NURSING HOMES)

THE SANTA HUNT: Together with Musikk, we staged a family musical for all the kindergartens in Elverum. Free and with serving of Christmas porridge. As well as two open evening performances. Six in total.

Alongside this, we had a Family Weekend where we sold different Christmas gifts for Uganda, raffle sales and cafe operation also for our projects + open school and two great evenings of entertainment for our guests.

DEPOSIT: We reserve bottles from all boarding schools once a week. this provides over NOK 10 during the year - or 000 full school places for orphans in Kasese

MOVIES and Theme: Movies on War + plus films and discussion topics around Africa

2025:

Swahili culture, main trip to LAMU, 2 theme weeks, trip to Utøya, Oslo and the Roman Empire and more assistance, African food, Friend in everyday life and Pedagogy for the Rich to name a few
