"The Great Santa Hunt" - happy children from Elverum to Uganda

Afrika og Musikk rounded off the year with a family performance to raise money for a good cause!

The great Santa Hunt is written by Africa teacher Geir with music by Music teacher Arild. In the performance, all the country's gnomes gather at the Elverum gnome college, but they are quickly threatened by NNF - National Goblin Removers.

Father Christmas himself has to step in and save Christmas, with the help of all the little elves and we can reveal that it was a sick ending.

The show started outside with a torchlight walk while gnomes peeked out from every window, nook and cranny. It then continued inside the fireplace room where Santa Claus came sizzling out of the fireplace and ended on the stage in the great hall. The children became actively involved in the story, and were allowed to come up and dance with the gnomes along the way. Afterwards, all guests were served porridge by the gnome flock in the fireplace room.

Ticket revenue goes to the school's aid projects in Uganda.
