Photo / Experiences' photos from interrail!

The interrail started with a few days in Rome, before the students went on in groups. The next common gathering point was in Berlin, but between Rome and Berlin the groups themselves decided where they wanted to go. They had planned in advance which places they would go to, where they would sleep, which trains they would take, set up a budget and not least planned what they would experience.

The students went to the following cities, among other places. Florence, Naples, Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Vienna, Prague, Dresden, Utrecht and Brussels.

In Berlin, our joint day started with a good breakfast before we walked along the East Side Gallery - the longest remaining part of the Berlin Wall, now covered in graffiti art. Then we went to RAW, a disused train repair station. The station was closed in 1999 and has since been an important point for Berlin's subculture with buildings covered in graffiti.

The students then had time to discover Berlin on their own before we met for dinner together in the evening.

After dinner we went together to the mighty Brandenburg Gate. Then we went to the Monument - the Memorial to Europe's murdered Jews.

On the way home, the students eagerly talked about their experiences out in the big world with many photographic gems on the memory card. Here you can see some of the beautiful results.
